A Halloween digital escape room · The Logic League Eight stops. Eight locks. Eight missing Moon Shards.
📜 Hazel's note, left where the Giant Prize Pumpkin should be:"One last prank before bedtime, Night Patrol! I've hidden the pumpkin behind the Hollow Gate and locked it early.
Collect the eight Moon Shards hidden across the patch, open the gate, and you can have it back… before the gate seals at midnight!"
The Mission
The Giant Prize Pumpkin Is Missing!
🌙 Hazel, the witch-in-training
Halloween night at Pumpkin Hollow! The valley's beloved pumpkin patch is buzzing —
lanterns are lit, the Skeleton Band is tuning up, and the Giant Prize Pumpkin gleams at the center of the
Harvest Festival. But at the stroke of dusk — poof! — the Giant Prize Pumpkin vanishes!
In its place sits a note from Hazel, the patch's mischievous witch-in-training:
"One last prank before bedtime, Night Patrol! I've hidden the pumpkin behind the Hollow Gate and locked it early.
Collect the eight Moon Shards hidden across the patch, open the gate, and you can have it back… before the gate
seals at midnight!"
Your team's mission: work your way around the patch, solve each lock, and recover all 8 Moon Shards.
Each shard carries a number — keep them safe! You will need every shard at the Hollow Gate.
How to play: Work as a team of 2–3 members of the Night Patrol.
🔎 Each stop hides one puzzle and one Moon Shard. Type the answer into the lock — a correct answer opens the way to the next stop.
💡 Stuck? Hint bulbs glow right on the scene the longer you work: Hint 1 after 2 minutes, Hint 2 after 4, the Final Hint after 6, and the Answer itself after 10. Tap a glowing bulb — or the 💡 Hints button at the bottom of the scene — to read them. Using hints is smart patrol work, not cheating!
📖 Every stop tells its story right inside the scene — Hazel pops up in person to tell it — and each stop posts a 🔎 Clue Help notice. Read them!
🎵 Tap the Music button (top of the screen) any time to play the game's original music-box waltz. It starts off, so your classroom stays as quiet as you like.
📝 Use the Notes page to keep track of codes and shard numbers.
🌙 Your progress saves automatically on this device. If you leave and come back, you will pick up right where you stopped.

Corn Maze
🌙 Hazel, the witch-in-training
The Corn Maze looms at the edge of the patch, its stalks rustling in the moonlight.
A scarecrow leans on the fence beside the entrance, holding a lantern and a hand-painted sign:
"Hazel flew over this maze on her broom and dropped four Moon-Shard pumpkins along the ONE safe path —
every other turn is a dead end! Trace the only path from the entrance gate to me, and the pumpkins you pass
will spell the code in the order you meet them."
🗺️ THE SCARECROW'S MAP — tap a square to walk your lantern 🏮 along the ONE safe path
🎃 Pumpkins passed: — none yet —
🍂 Three big leaves blew onto the map — brush them aside to see the corn rows!

Potion Stand
🌙 Hazel, the witch-in-training
Bubbles pop and sparkle over Hazel's Potion Stand. A recipe card, pinned to the stall, reads
"Moonpetal Potion — one batch." Beside it, Hazel's note cackles: "The festival needs THREE batches tonight,
potion-makers! Triple every ingredient exactly. The cups you'll pour, in recipe order, are the code —
and the Moon Shard is yours. No halves, no leftovers — my potion only pours whole cups when it's tripled!"
📜Hazel's recipe card (tap to turn it over)

Haunted Portraits
🌙 Hazel, the witch-in-training
Five portraits hang in the old farmhouse gallery, their painted eyes following the Night Patrol.
Hazel's broom-bristle handwriting is scrawled on a card beneath them: "Five spooky sitters, five golden frames —
but only ONE arrangement fits my five clues. Work out who hangs where, and tell my lock the name in the MIDDLE frame!"
The frames are numbered 1 to 5, left to right.

🖼️ Hazel's Five Clues
Captain Crimson hangs in the very middle frame.
Sir Reginald hangs immediately to the Captain's right.
Baron Bones and Countess Cleo hang in the two left-hand frames — in some order.
Countess Cleo hangs somewhere to the right of Baron Bones.
Madame Moon hangs immediately beside Sir Reginald.

Graveyard Verses
🌙 Hazel, the witch-in-training
Beyond the orchard fence, the little graveyard glows with candlelight. Four friendly tombstones
stand in a row, each carved with a short verse about the patch-folk who rest there.
Hazel's note is tucked under a candle: "Verses hide more than rhymes, Night Patrol. Use my index —
Stone, Line, Word — and take the FIRST LETTER of each word you find. Seven letters will name the thing
that lights your way!"

Candy Cauldron
🌙 Hazel, the witch-in-training
The Candy Cauldron bubbles with treats for tonight's festival bags. Hazel stirs it with a candy cane
and grins: "I filled treat bags by my secret recipe — every bag gets candy corn, chocolate bats and gummy ghosts
in the ratio 3 : 2 : 1. I kept bagging until the candy corn ran clean out — all 18 pieces gone!
The bats and ghosts never ran out. Tell my lock how many candies went into the bags in total, and the shard is yours!"
🍬 Hazel's Treat-Bag Station — every bag: 3 candy corn · 2 chocolate bats · 1 gummy ghost
🛍️ Bag #1 is open — pop the jar lids, then tap candies to fill it.

Skeleton Band
🌙 Hazel, the witch-in-training
On the festival stage, the Skeleton Band grins at the Night Patrol — four musicians, bones polished
for the big night. Their conductor taps his baton: "We play our Harvest Count for you, friends — each instrument
in set-list order, each one a certain number of times. Count carefully, in order, and our four counts are the code!"
Hazel's cackle echoes from the rafters: "And if your room must stay quiet, WATCH instead — the band performs
just as clearly in silence!"

Spiderweb
🌙 Hazel, the witch-in-training
A grand spiderweb stretches between two fence posts, glittering with dew and moonlight.
Letters hang in its threads — a pair on every strand, one on the left and one on the right.
The spider, a polite old soul named Webber, bows: "Hazel tangled my web with letter pairs, dearies.
But a web never lies about symmetry: only pairs whose two letters are TRUE MIRRORS — the very same letter
on both sides — are really mine. Read those true letters from the top of the web to the bottom!"

The Hollow Gate
🌙 Hazel, the witch-in-training
At last — the Hollow Gate, ancient stone wrapped in pumpkin vines at the edge of the patch.
Seven Moon Shards glow in your team's satchel, and the gate's stone face rumbles awake:
"Shards in the order you won them. ADD the 1st, the 3rd and the 5th together. MULTIPLY by the 2nd.
SUBTRACT the 7th. Speak the number… and I shall open, the Giant Prize Pumpkin shall roll free,
and the Harvest Festival shall be saved before midnight!"
Lanterns flare all over the Hollow. This is it, Night Patrol.

🎉 You Saved the Festival!
🌙 Hazel, the witch-in-training
With a CREAK and a burst of moon-sparkles, the Hollow Gate swings wide — and out rolls the
Giant Prize Pumpkin, wearing a ribbon and not a scratch on it! Hazel swoops down on her broom, laughing:
"You did it, Night Patrol! Every shard found, every lock opened — best prank I ever pulled, and the best team
that ever caught me!" The Skeleton Band strikes up the Harvest Count, the lanterns glow, and the festival
begins — all before midnight. Case closed!
